Div 1 get the weekend off with the provincial team playing in the Maritime Cup, so it will be our Div 2 and Div 3 teams flying the flag for the Cannons this weekend.
Div 3 takes a 2 game winning streak into its clash with East Coast CC on Saturday. The team welcomes back Arun Thampi and Aswhin Chander for their first games of the season, and young gun Tommy Upton is also back in the lineup after being away for a few weeks. Acting captain Steve Smith will have an exciting mix of youth and experience at his disposal.
On Sunday, our Div 2 team will be looking to get back to their winning ways against NS Avengers CC. Skipper Dhruv Mohta is back at the helm to lead a strong looking lineup, and along with the inclusion of Danish Khan, gives the team a strong top order. He also has eight genuine bowling options to choose from which will be invaluable in this current hot weather.
